Thank you for booking with Fletcher & Clarke's Barber Shop.

We are located in Bedale town centre to the right hand side of the Co-op, through the door and up the stairs.

Gary & Dan welcome you to their Barber Shop, full of interesting decor, from our welcome room to our designated waiting room then finally our glorious barber room! Dan & Gary have joined forces to create an amazing atmosphere throughout, enjoyable to all.

Not to mention their combined 28 years experience [as of 2020] in providing all aspects of male grooming and styling with countless awards nationally for their skills in barbering.

Both barbers met when Gary owned his own barber shop, Dan worked as an apprentice for Gary then became a qualified barber, and his best friend! A change of circumstances led the pair to set up a new shop together to the right of Co-op, upstairs, in Bedale town centre and so began Fletcher & Clarke's Barber shop!

Gary Clarke

I have been involved in the barbering industry now for over 20 years locally in and around Bedale, it has alowed me to be creative and make alot of friends. I have learnt that I have a passion for cutting all different types of hair and also that I’m a perfectionist in what I do. But if you like good laugh and a chat about motorbikes, F1, fishing or the Norfolk Broads you might have to book 2 appointments! I could bang on for hours about it! Ha ha!

Dan Fletcher

Barbering for me is more than just a haircut. It’s an experience, good chat and time to switch off for 20 mins from all the stresses in life. I have been working in the barbering industry since I was 15 and if there is one thing I love doing more than doing a clean fade it’s mocking people for the football team they support. However I am a Newcastle fan so if we have lost a game at the weekend please do not bring up football as it will be a sensitive subject to me

Paul Taylor

I enjoy amateur photography and cycling (but not at the same time haha).I served for 22 years in HM Forces and have spent the last 16 as a Heating and Gas Engineer so im new to the barbering industry. In Sept 2020 I attended an NVQ level2 in Barbering course at East Durham College, Peterlee, completing the course in Jun 2021.Gary and I came together in Aug 2021 where he generously agreed to ‘point me in the right direction’. In Aug 2022 I attended an 8 week intensive NVQ level2 refresher/ up skills course at SB Barbering Academy in Sunderland. This was a welcome boost, so much fun and certainly kept my dream alive of becoming a barber. Fast forward to the present. Gary, Dan and I have continued to work together on my training which now sees me embarking on the next phase of my Barbering journey at Fletcher and Clarke’s Barber shop. It’s a huge break to be given this opportunity and one that I intend to grow into. Im looking forward to seeing you in the Chair!
